Canar Telecommunications Soars High with its Identity in the Skies of Sudan.

Canar's Identity Constitutes a New and Modern Concept in Connecting Communications Technology to the Community with the Objective of Providing Prestigious Customer Services, and Contributing in Building a Future that Leads to Further Growth & Development.

Khartoum.  11 October, 2005.  Canar Telecommunications – Sudan's second national phone operator – has unveiled its official logo and identity as a step towards launching the service.  Canar will be the most up to date and most prominent communications provider in Sudan, since it will be implementing what is known by Next Generation Networks (NGN) that depends on Internet Protocols (IP).  The company will also accommodate other sound technologies as well to deliver its services,   such as Fiber Optics Cables and Wireless Services and therefore, positioning Sudan as one of few countries that uses such technologies in land networks.  This will eventually cater for great opportunities to use the technology in providing quality-based services.

Canar's identity is represented by a unique bird which is known by its beautiful voice, soaring high to wider horizons and worlds and, therefore, representing agility and freedom.  The identity encapsulates also a large wave that creates a sense of speeding forward with power, care and great concern.  The innovative font used in writing the word Canar symbolizes modernity and innovation.  The red and violet colors constituting the overall logo; represent warmth and welcoming.  In addition, Canar's pulse that originates from cultural and traditional values of the people of Sudan, and commitment to become part of the force that pushes forward and hence, creating a sense of development that include different sectors of the country.

Mr. Saood Al Junaibi, Managing Director of Canar expressed his gratitude to unveil Canar's identity in the holy month of Ramadan, and explained that  the identity sums up a new and modern concept linking communications technology to the community and therefore, providing first class customer service with an objective of contributing in building a future of prosperity and growth.  Furthermore, to achieve goals that benefit the Sudanese people.
